Endless Mode Guide — Push Longer Runs
Endless Mode is Protect the Border’s long-run challenge, live per the official description (“ENDLESS MODE OUT NOW!!!”). Instead of a fixed campaign, you push as far as you can through escalating days.
What we know
- Infinite days — there is no final shift; every day extends the run
- Every shift longer, every night worse, every boss bigger
- Waves keep growing stronger every day
- Up to 4 officers — co-op applies to Endless runs
The core tension
Endless Mode forces a continuous trade-off:
- Inspection income keeps you funded — but every traveler processed is time not spent preparing
- Night survival demands ammo, health and positioning — but prep time is income lost
- Bribes are quick cash — but each one adds difficulty to a night that is already scaling

Strategy principles
- Process backlog early — the queue grows during nights; a clean checkpoint going into sunset is a manageable one
- Prep before sunset, always — ammo and health; nights don’t wait
- Spend wisely — hold resources for high-difficulty waves instead of spending immediately
- Threat priority in combat — the closest or most dangerous enemy first
- Don’t take bribes late — in deep runs, every extra threat compounds
